Thinge we can't live without...or so they say.

Hey, so this is my first blog...no one will probably read this but whatever! Over the past few months I have had time to consider the things in life that someone really could do with out, for example: facebook, or an i-phone ( which is me being a total hypocrite seeing as how I have one), federal forms of government ( I'm no anarchist but I just believe a room of chimps could run the united states better than what we have), i-pads or any tablet really if you have a computer or laptop why do you need one, ereaders (just get a book!). There's more but the entire post would be just one long list, I feel people need to take a step back from their life for just a minute and ask themselves "Do I really need all this shit?" because doing so you'll realize there is not much you really need, heck if you live in a city why get a car? Or in fact why do people spend money on new expensive cars anyway? I have a 1997 Toyota Rav4 and it runs just fine, I'll have it till it dies, but there are people who need the fastest, or biggest, shiniest new thing when really what they have is just fine. In my opinion people put to much emphasis on the stuff they have because to them it means status, what will others think?, how will this effect my job?, and so on. If people just learned to live with what they have we wouldn't have many of the problems we have to day, mainly the US economy. People need to realize that they can't spend more than they already have, and then when they do for some reason they don't now how they wound up in debit having the bank forclose on their home and taking they're boat and Hummer. It's things like this that make me worry for the future, because if we don't start to change how we as a country lives and acts our future is very bleak.
